A loved one has passed away. Our memories are shaped by what we still remember, the stories we tell each other when we see photos or fragments of film – often on obsolete media – or when we chance upon an old diary or a children’s drawing at a family get-together or some other occasion. We start to reminisce about that very special person we all miss… The mental images of our loved ones lose grow fuzzier over time. We find it increasingly difficulty to reset the focus. Once in a while we experience a throw-back as we rummage through a box full of letters or pictures. Starting from what people still remember, the loved one’s life is documented and a postumous portrait in video emerges: a personal and lasting memento made with love and recorded on DVD or VHS video that withstands the passing of time. In the privacy of your own home, you can watch it together with those near and dear to you – as often as you want - and recall the people as you knew them and all their whims.
