After a first initial introduction, you tell us what you would like and stories of your life will tell you what can be done. This leads on to a formal proposal. At every stage of the process, you can ask for changes – perhaps adding some material that has suddenly surfaced.
Of course, we will always keep you posted on the cost implications the final costs. The viewing of the first rough cuts is a very special moment: the portrait takes shape. Obviously there are t’s to cross and i’s to be dotted; all that is taken care of in the final product. We can, and often do, arrange for a festive unveiling of the finished portrait.
DURATION
A film of any duration is possible! If you opt for the DVD format rather than video, you have the added advantage of an easy-to-navigate menu. Especially when different kinds of material have been incorporated, you can opt for a variant of Stories Of Your Life. It takes the form of a ‘filing cabinet’ where you can open labelled ‘drawers’ to view specific periods or distinct material under such headings as photos, diaries, the marines or at university.
